Mr. Diegnan concentrates his practice in general corporate
counseling, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, real
estate and land use planning, and commercial disputes.
He has worked on a variety of corporate matters and has handled
transactions ranging from traditional purchase and sale of companies
to asset purchases and financing transactions. Mr. Diegnan has handled
commercial and residential real estate transactions, lease and
sublease agreements, as well land use planning. Mr. Diegnan has also
represented clients before town planning boards.
Mr. Diegnan has also represented public companies in the preparation
of registration statements and in Securities and Exchange Commission
filings. He has represented borrowers and lenders in the negotiation
of credit facilities.
Mr. Diegnan was an associate in the Global Corporate Group at Milbank,
Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York City from 2000 to 2005. He also
worked at McCarter & English LLP in Newark, New Jersey as an associate
and a summer associate in the Corporate Department. Mr. Diegnan began
his career in the Capital Management Group at AT&T in the early
nineties and worked at The Prudential Insurance Company of America in
the Corporate Law Department while in law school. |

Eric D. Brophy,
Diegnan & Brophy, LLC, Berkeley Heights and Bradley Beach, New Jersey,
concentrates his practice in general commercial litigation, business
litigation, business disputes, construction litigation, consumer fraud
claims, community association law, collections, and municipal court.
Mr. Brophy is admitted to practice in the federal and State Courts of
New Jersey; the State Courts of New York; the United States District
Court for the Southern District of New York; United States District
Court for the Eastern District of New York; and the Bankruptcy Courts
of the District of New Jersey, Southern District of New York and
Eastern District of New York. Mr. Brophy has lectured before the
National Business Institute.
Mr. Brophy has written and lectured on various issues relating to
complex commercial litigation and developments in condominium law.
Mr. Brophy is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association’s
Construction Law and Business Law Sections. He is also a member of
the Community Association Institute. Mr. Brophy currently serves as
the Municipal Prosecutor for Wall Township, New Jersey.
Mr. Brophy received his B.S. from the University of Scranton, and his
law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
